Destinations - Where to go for photgraphy

In this section of the website the idea is to share details of places to visit that give opportunites to obtain great photographs. Hopefully resulting in some interesting articles to aid your choice of destinations to visit.

Having spent three months exploring and photographing in New Zealand between January and April of 2005, my experiences of travelling in this fascinating country should help you in planning your own tour.

Scotland is another area with abundant photo fodder, and there are places which both teem with visitors and are surprisingly empty.

Wales has wonderful scenic and coastal opportunities, and in a couple of areas I have now visited two or three times there is plenty to hold the interest to the photographer.

Living near London Heathrow Airport might not seem to be an ideal spot, but a short journey can bring plenty of subject matter in front of the lens. From nature reserves under the flight path, or further afield to areas like Surrey and the New Forest, there is always something of interest near to home.

Check out the Learning Photography pages for details of Day Courses where you can learn in some of these easily visited destinations.
